StarBIGG+

The purpose of the StarBİGG+ program is to enhance the sustainability of SMEs supported by TÜBİTAK and ensure that the supports achieve their goals. In this context, SMEs will be matched with experts from the TÜBİTAK national mentor pool and will receive mentoring support for periods determined according to their commercial maturity and R&D competencies. Mentoring support will be provided by TÜBİTAK for 16 to 40 hours.

Program Content 

The program aims to support activities for the creation and implementation of mentoring mechanisms to increase the business development and innovation capacities of SMEs. In order to ensure more effective and efficient use of public resources allocated to research and innovation, mentoring mechanisms will be developed and implemented for SMEs supported under TÜBİTAK TEYDEB programs to commercialize their products and services, enter new markets and increase their export capacity.

Mentoring Conditions 

SMEs receiving mentoring services must have a project supported by TÜBİTAK TEYDEB program with a contract date of January 1, 2012, or later.

Minimum Requirements for Mentoring

• 10 years of industrial managerial experience,
• 10 years of entrepreneurial experience,
• 10 years of mentoring experience,
• 5 years of work experience for those with both entrepreneurial and mentoring experience.

Program Duration and Support 

The program duration is 24 months, and accepted firms will receive 16-40 hours of mentoring support from TÜBİTAK.
