StarBIGG, as the implementing organization of TÜBİTAK 1812 - Investment-Based Entrepreneurship Support Program, under the leadership of YTU Yildiz Technopark and in partnership with Türksat, has formed an entrepreneurship ecosystem. Through a strong consortium that brings together sectoral expertise, the program is designed to transform technology and innovation-focused business ideas into qualified business plans and to enable entrepreneurs found eligible by TÜBİTAK to establish companies with capital support from the TÜBİTAK BIGG Fund in exchange for equity.

The StarBIGG program supports entrepreneurs throughout their entire journey from the idea stage to market entry, aiming to establish technology-based ventures with high added value and the potential to create qualified employment.

Application Requirements

Not being a partner in the ownership structure of any business, possessing an R&D-focused and technology-based innovative business idea, being a graduate of or a student in associate, undergraduate, master's, or doctoral programs at universities, and not having previously received support from relevant programs of TÜBİTAK or the Ministry of Industry and Technology.

Within the scope of the program, the provided supports include access to YTU Yildiz Technopark offices and prototype manufacturing workshops, mentorship and business development support from experts, assistance in patent research and application processes, training and coaching services from instructors with more than 10 years of experience, brand building and marketing support, as well as artificial intelligence training, sectoral mentorship, and POC support for eligible projects under the Türksat partnership. Entrepreneurs who qualify for support by receiving the Seal of Excellence are offered the opportunity to establish a company and set up an office at YTU Yildiz Technopark.
