Free AI Training for Undergraduates: YTU Startup House and Meta Open Applications for the Student Hackathon Training Series
YTU Startup House and Meta are inviting university students across Türkiye to a two-stage journey!
Applications for the AI 101 training series, part of AI Builders Türkiye, are now open. In this free online training, delivered in Turkish by professional trainers accredited by Meta, you will learn how generative AI works and how to turn your ideas into prototypes with Meta’s AI tools. No prior experience with large language models is required, as the first module starts from zero.
The series consists of four evening sessions, held online and recorded. Students who complete the training will receive priority selection for the Student Hackathon, taking place at YTU Startup House on 4-6 December.
Applications: 21 September - 11 October 2026
Training: 23 October - 5 November 2026
Hackathon: 4-6 December 2026
Prize Pool: $6,000
Who Can Apply?
Students aged 18 to 26 who are enrolled in an associate’s or bachelor’s degree program at a university and are interested in AI can apply, from any field of study. Applications for the training series are individual, while team applications for the hackathon will open later.
What Awaits You?
Participants who complete the training (attending at least 3 of the 4 modules) will receive a certificate of participation, access to session recordings, and membership in the AI Builders Türkiye community. At the hackathon, a $6,000 prize pool awaits, along with a place in the YTU Startup House Pre-incubation Program for the winning teams.
